Dear diary...
September 2008
Well the fat lady sang, and my time at the Beijing sporting extravaganza came to an end. And what an Olympics it was. The paralympians did GB proud as well, with Dave Roberts and Liz Johnson in particular providing us with some lasting memories of a moment in time. Congratulations.

When I got back from Beijing I was straight off to Zurich for more athletics!

I am now back in Leeds presenting the Sunday show, and it's great to be back - we have a great production team.

I am looking forward to my involvement in the National Training Awards this Autumn, a scheme which recognises organisations and individuals that demonstrate outstanding business and personal success through investment in training.

I have managed to spend some time with my family, and thanks to my Aunty and Uncle for preparing a fantastic lunch picked fresh from their allotment. Ahhh... fresh food, sometimes you can forget just how good it tastes! It's good to be home in Wales - and I haven't even mentioned the weather!
