We have been busy with the actifcymru project, which is a great Sports Council Wales initiative. We’ve met some great characters.Talking of great characters Nicole Cooke has been with us, planning her season for 2009. It’s an exciting time for her, and Red Shoes will be helping with her goals leading up to 2012. Filming has taken us to Greece, Iceland... and Cardiff; inspirational stories of people completing these half and full marathons. No, I didn’t participate. I am a hurdler, a sprinter, a speed merchant... and also in my forties. One day though for sure...

BBC Sports Personality of the Year is coming along, and with Lewis Hamilton’s last bend effort; the Olympic team’s success, including Nicole; and Joe Calzaghe fighting Roy Jones Jnr – it should be a nail biting evening.
